Often against a backdrop of a highly emotional and anxious situation, our Family Team offers an approachable and professional service to our clients. With two cases rarely being the same we fully understand the need for clear and reliable advocacy.

In Public Law proceedings we regularly represent Parents, Grandparents, Guardians, Local Authorities, CAFCASS and, now becoming more frequent, the children themselves. Our specialist knowledge of emergency protection orders, care / supervision orders, learning disability, chronic neglect, emotional abuse, and sexual abuse is delivered professionally whether via written advice or within proceedings.

From a Private Law perspective we have skills in matters pertaining to applications for, and enforcement of, Residence, Contact and other Section 8 Orders. We also have experience in cases involving permanent removal from the Jurisdiction and International Abduction (Child Abduction and Custody Act 1985 ("The Hague Convention") together with the New Brussels II).
